so i was on twitter tonight reminesing about the stuff we used to like from the 80s & 90s and it inspired me to do this post. i just wanna momentarily take you back to the way things were…take a ride in the DeLorean with me for a sec as i remember a few of my favorite late 1980’s-1990’s shows, commercials & a few xtras.
i remember rushing home after school to catch shows like Alf & Small Wonder. THOSE were the shows to watch. Even earlier in my life I would watch shows like Fraggle Rock, The Smurfs & Snorks [the underwater version of the smurfs]. I loved the Smurfs so much, i had these little figurines all over my room!
my grandma would constantly step on one or two of them every single day. Oh! but my absolutely favorite cartoon to watch growing up? BOBBY’S WORLD. the intro tune would be stuck in my head for hours! “it’s GENERIC not generic!”
remember Eureeka’s Castle? 
ooh but then we got a bit older & we started watching shows like Clarissa Explains It All. I liked her soooo much more than Blossom. She just came off cooler yanno? Then there was SNICK. This late night block hosted shows like the Adventures of Pete & Pete, All That & one of my favorites…Are you Afraid of the Dark? LMAO the intro still scares me so watch with caution.
The commercials then were so corny now that i look at them in comparison to the ones today. this commercial made me laugh when i saw it because i would JUST DIE if my granny didnt but these when she went to the store…LMAO @ the blue one being called Berry B. Wild.
oh SHIT! remember Gak? i used to get that shit everywhere…& if i remember correctly it used to stain. I doubt that was on the label…

i cant even remember when i wasnt on twitter. when i first made my account i didnt think much of it. i still preferred FaceBook. now its like what the hell are u doing with yourself if u DONT have a twitter?! what kind of socially inept person are u?!
Overall it’s more private than MySpace which is good because it tends to generally leave the messiness out of the equation. With a MySpace public page youre allowing all types of people to go through ure pics, ure comments etc… not so much with twitter. U only got 140 characters for your bio & 1 shot to get the perfect profile picture. theres nothing to “pry” into yanno? i cant compare twitter to FB tho only cuz i still like it. MySpace is slowly trying to rip off of FB to hold on to the handful of active members it has now. MySpace is slowly turning into the century’s BlackPlanet.
Now the only thing that i h8 about twitters popularity is that all the skanks, thirst-monsters, hoochies, beezies from MySpace are creeping up onto OUR social network. u know who these girls are by the profile pics containing 90% of one or more of the following:

with that aside, twitter is the best social network to ever happen to me. i twitter on my phone, on my netbook, in the tub, on the toilet, under the covers, while im cooking, while im shopping, while im driving. wherever i can…i WILL & i probably have.
the funny part is that a lot of ppl join twitter for the celebs when in actuality its the REGULAR people who make MY day. MOST [not all] of the celebs are mad involved in themselves. its actually quite annoying. @KimKardashian. im not pointn any fingers…am i?
